Yummy yummy toast!

For this weeks cooking activity, we made toast with butter and honey.  We practiced smelling (it's sweet/ it' smells delicious) spreading, feeling (it's sticky) and cutting. It was also an opportunity for us to discover:  'Where honey comes from?' and 'How do bees make honey?' We had great fun and the children were happy to share their knowledge!

Painting Ladybirds. Finding out about mini beasts. Forest School - Discovering our new learning environment and going on a Bug Hunt! This week's secret reader, thank you Kate! We love to share stories. We went to the North Pole to find out about Arctic animals! We built shelters for our dinosaurs using Kapla. We used our new tweezers to sort out the rubber animals. Some of use loved the 'Shark in the dark' book so much that we wanted to make our own telescope! We used unifix to measure the height of various animals, we then counted how many cubes high they were.
